It's not easy to stand for what's right. My experience of this has by far been one of realizing that people who don't believe you have to take a moral stance -- that you can both-sides everything -- are almost never the ones affected by injustices. Take care of yourself. 🧡

I honestly don’t mind having no moral sympathy towards this cause or any cause, but I detest the one-sided hypocrisy or theatrical wordplay.. I’d rather one having no sympathy towards anyone rather than it being egregiously one-sided.

Well written and on point. Loved all the quotes. Mandela on Palestinians! What an honor and what a great human. Thank you for a good read.

It has been a heavy week. I am sorry that you have encountered wishy washy people. I hope you can find friends who care about their principles and people.

This was such a great read. Well done. But do not stop running. 👏✍️

Appreciate you Kevin. In fact, it seems that I wasn't alone in having issues with their running communities to the extent that a new community formed of people who support Palestine, but their clubs aren't welcoming enough of it. I'm trying to kick back into it as of this week!

Great news, my friend. We, in Ireland, hold a special place in our heart for the people of Palestine. The atrocities of recent weeks have reopened wounds I had stupidly forgotten. Pain, indeed, has no memory. The ordinary working people of the entire area are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

As for your running, go for it man! I was once a sprinter ...run as long and as hard as you can.

The people of Ireland are the real ones. They are the biggest supporters of the just cause of the Palestinians in Europe. As Antonia said: no one can sympathize like the people who lived the atrocities of being oppressed. I respect you brother.
